Sunday School Classes

FUMC focuses on building connections. As we aim to know, love and worship God in a personal way, we also strive to know, love and support one another. We offer a variety of Sunday School classes and Bible studies for people of all ages at all stages in their faith journey.  Adults of any age are invited to be a part of a new offering onSunday mornings that will begin on January 8th.  Especially for those who aren't currently in a Sunday School class, the conversations will begin aroun 9:45 am.  Around the Table will be a time of informal conversation, coffee and fellowship around the tables in Memorial Hall.  Each week several questions related to faith and life will be placed on the tables and a facilitator will start off the discussion.  Feel free to join in occasionally, or come each week.  Questions?  Contact Lee Gale ( or Rev. Classes begin around 9:45 am.  Greeters will be able to direct visitors to their class.

Agape Class

This is a Bible Study class for all ages.  Studying the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.  This study will lead to discussion of current issues.

Come & See

In depth study of the Bible.  This class is open to people of all ages.

Compass Class

This class learns from scripture and related writings, discusses daily life applications and focuses on developing a more personal relationship with God and others through prayer and fellowship.  The class is gear for those adults, 20-40 yrs old, but all are welcome.

Open Discussion

As the name implies, this class is built among open and free discussion.  Several members share in leadership in a mutually supportive atmosphere that encourages participation by everyone.  Subjects for study are selected from books and other resources recommended by class members.  All ages are welcome.

Still Searching

This class is dedicated to the search for God's will in our daily living.  The fellowhip is Still Searching though the study of scripture on how we might be fully human, total inloving and being all that God desires us to be.


United Methodist Women- Ruby Beshears Circle
