No One Left Unfed

Partnering with CareNet, a community crisis center, members donate specific items on a monthly basis to ensure the center’s shelves are well stocked with the most needed items.  Want to help?  Start with this Shopping List. (Click on the image to see the list.) 

Share and Serve Garden

Located on the First UMC campus, the garden cultivates food and fellowship. Crops grown are distributed to CareNet, providing fresh vegetables to those in need.

Summer Food Program

Volunteers provide lunch to children living in a local housing complex, who may suffer from food insecurities during the summer months.

Community Care Clinic Franklin

Volunteers assist with clinical and clerical needs at a weekly free medical clinic as well as provide meals for volunteers at the clinic on a monthly basis.

Mentoring program

Students at Mountain View Intermediate School receive one-on-one mentoring from FUMC volunteers.

International Missions

Angol, Chile: Methodist Church & El Vergel Agricultural School Mission:  The Methodist Church was destroyed in 2010 when an 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit the region. The purpose of this trip is to help rebuild the church and help in the day to day operations of the school.
